Peabody, MA, —TMC, a unit of AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies and
the world leader in precision floor vibration control, has appointed Jon Harman as
Director of Asian Sales and Marketing with responsibility for managing all aspects of
TMC’s sales in Asia.
Mr. Harman will lead the expansion of TMC’s sales and service organization in
Asia, working with customers, agents and distributors, as well as identifying and
establishing appropriate channels for TMC’s products in each country. His work will
complement the technical expertise of Dr. Jin Bereder-Wu, TMC’s Asian Application &
Business Development Manager, based in Tokyo. Mr. Harman also will continue in his
current position of managing sales in Asia for AMETEK Precitech, another unit of
AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies.
“Jon has more than two decades of management and sales experience in Asia,”

region is invaluable to TMC’s commitment to further expand our strong presence and
customer support in Asia.”
Prior to joining TMC, Mr. Harman held positions in process engineering, general
management and sales, including nearly 25 years of experience selling capital
equipment in Asia. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering
from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He will reside
in Shanghai.
