TMC Introduces Everstill™ Active Vibration Cancellation Platform

星期四, 十月 15, 2015

PEABODY, MA, — TMC, an industry leader in high-performance vibration cancellation technology, introduces Everstill™ K-400, a compact, benchtop active vibration cancellation system. The Everstill K-400 is ideal for small, lightweight, ultra-precision instruments, including optical microscopes, scanning probe microscopes and metrology instruments, and helps those tools achieve superior resolution.

The patented Everstill starts to isolate at 0.7 Hz and delivers dramatic vibration cancellation, especially in the critical 1-10 Hz range. Everstill achieves that performance through an active “hard-mount” with serial-type architecture. The robust plug and play design requires no air.

“Serial-type active systems achieve better overall vibration isolation because payload resonances are mechanically filtered from the vibration sensors,” states Wes Wigglesworth, Product Manager, Active Systems. “This allows for high gain settings with no sacrifice in system stability.

“Everstill’s vibration sensor is a geophone-type velocity sensor rather than a low-cost accelerometer, achieving a significantly lower noise floor, especially at low frequencies,” adds Wigglesworth.

TMC designs and manufactures precision vibration isolation systems for sensitive research and manufacturing processes worldwide. TMC is an ISO 9001:2008-certified company. Its products include active and passive vibration isolation systems; optical tops, optical table systems, and breadboards; laboratory tables and tabletop platforms; floor platforms; magnetic field cancellation and electric field shielding systems; and acoustic enclosures.
